According to statistics from the Ministry of Health, every year, hundreds of thousands of people in our country are suddenly attacked (bitten) by ""pet"" dogs. Participating in the civil liability insurance for dog owners of Bao Viet Insurance Corporation will help you compensate third parties for expenses incurred such as:
- The cost of rabies vaccination and serum is according to health authorities' regulations. medical examination and treatment facilities;
- Actual costs for 1 examination and/or emergency within 72 hours from the time of the accident (5% of the insurance liability level);
- Third-party death directly caused by the insured's dog.

Upon receiving an insurance request from the owner, Bao Viet is responsible for coordinating with relevant agencies to organize rabies vaccination for the dog before issuing an insurance certificate to the owner. Compensation for the victim or the victim's family shall be paid no later than 15 days from receipt of a complete and valid claim file.

“Dog owners” are individuals, household representatives, legal representatives of organizations residing in Vietnam, owning and raising dogs, and managing and training dogs within the territory of Vietnam.

Scope of the insurance

Bao Viet will indemnify the Insured or on behalf of the Insured compensate a third party for the costs under the insurance liability that the Insured is responsible for paying to a third party arising directly from an accident caused by the Insured's dog.
