Is there a waiting period when buying critical illness insurance?

Critical Illness insurance will cover the full 100% of the coverage if the insured is diagnosed with one of the diseases listed below, after a 90-day waiting period and the Insured Person is 30 days alive After the date of diagnosis, Bao Viet Insurance will pay the full Sum Insured.

What is the deadline for submitting a claim?

Within 60 days from the date the insured event occurs, the Insured, beneficiary, or legal heir must submit the claim documents to Bao Viet Insurance.

How to Submit an Insurance Claim?

You can submit hard copy documents to one of the following addresses:
Hanoi: 8 Le Thai To Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi
Da Nang: 5th Floor, 97 Tran Phu Street, Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang
Ho Chi Minh City: 6th Floor, EVNNPT Building, 610 Vo Van Kiet Street, Cau Ong Lanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

Is my illness covered if it is not on the list of critical illnesses?

The insurance policy specifies 10 critical illnesses that are within the scope of coverage. Bao Viet Insurance will not pay any benefits if your illness differs from a critical illness diagnosis as defined in the policy.

How long does it take to process a claim?

The claim processing time is within 15 business days from the date we receive all complete and valid documents, and is subject to the terms of your insurance policy.
If the processing time has been exceeded, please contact our Hotline at 1800 1118 and provide your claim number or policy number for assistance.
