 - Documents related to the treatment.

 - Documents related to the payment of medical expenses: financial invoices, receipts, receipts according to regulations of the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation ...

 - In case of death: Medical documents before death, Certificate of death in case of death and Certificate of legal inheritance in case the Insured dies must be notarized.

There are 3 ways you can submit your insurance claim:

• Online: Submit your claim directly through the BaoViet Direct app. This option is available for policies that allow online claims. (Download on App Store or Google Play)
• In-person: You can submit your claim in person at one of our offices:
  • Hanoi: 8 Le Thai To Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi
  • Da Nang: 5th Floor, 97 Tran Phu Street, Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang
  • Ho Chi Minh City: 6th Floor, EVNNPT Building, 610 Vo Van Kiet Street, Cau Ong Lanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City
• Through an agent: You can submit your claim through the insurance agent or at the company office where you purchased.

Within 15 business days of receiving a complete and valid claim. However, the actual processing time may vary depending on the specific terms of your insurance policy. If your claim has not been processed within this timeframe, please contact our hotline at 1800 1118 and provide your claim number or policy number for further assistance.

- For children from 15 days old to 3 years old, inpatient and outpatient medical expenses are applied according to the co-payment ratio: 70/30 (Bao Viet pays 70%, the insured pays 30% by himself). This regulation does not apply to the case where the Insured Person is examined and treated at medical facilities/public hospitals (except for voluntary treatment departments/treatment at the request of public hospitals.
- Treatments related to ligament reconstruction, meniscus tears are not covered in the first year and are covered for the second year continuously on the condition of compensation on a 70/30 co-payment basis. The insured shall bear 30% of the cost according to the co-payment definition.

The insurance takes effect after the following waiting period from the date of commencement of the insurance term specified on the Certificate of Insurance:
- 30 days for cases of illness (including the time of
disease until the end of the treatment period/calculated according to the time of disease, not counted
according to the time of treatment).
- 90 days for maternity complications as defined from the date of entitlement.
- 635 days for childbirth.
- 01 year for pre-existing diseases and diseases listed in General Exclusion No. 36 of Bao Viet An Gia Insurance Rules.
- 01 year for special diseases as defined.
- 06 months for children up to 6 years old: bronchitis, bronchiolitis, pneumonia of all kinds.

Dental treatment is limited to medical examination and treatment facilities as follows:
- In Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi: Only cover dental treatment at hospitals or dental treatment at dental clinics/clinics that have a cooperation agreement with Bao Viet Insurance to provide medical expense payment services.
- In other provinces/cities: expand insurance coverage for dental treatment at dental offices/clinics with legal practice registration licenses.
