Compulsory civil liability insurance as prescribed by the MOF compensates for:
 Damage of bodily injuries, deaths or property of third parties caused by motor vehicle

 Voluntary civil liability insurance (high limit of liability) compensates for:
 Damage of bodily injuries, deaths or property of third parties caused by motor vehicle with high limit of liability (upto VND 10 bil/person/occurrence

 Scope of coverage
 Baoviet will indemnify the Automobile owner for any loss or damage to the insured automobile due to natural disasters, unforeseen accident and out of control in the following

 - Crashing, flipping, dropping, shifting the center, sinking, dropping whole car, crashed by other ojbects, touching, destructive behavior of others.

 - Fire, burning, explosion;

 - Unforeseen disasters caused by nature: storms, floods, landslides, lightning strikes, earthquakes, hail, tsunami...

 - The entire automoblie is stolen.(Total loss compensation)

 Specially: BaoViet will indemnify total loss compensation in case the automobile has actual damage of over 75% of the market value of the vehicle; or it cannot be repaired or restored to ensure safety circulation or the recost of repairing damage equal to or greater than the actual value of the vehicle at the time of the loss.
