In case customers have health insurance contract with BaoViet Insurance and visit medical facilities under the direct billing network of Bao Viet Insurance, they may present their insurance card (physical card or digital card) and identity documents to use the direct billing service.

In case customers have health insurance contract with BaoViet Insurance and visit medical facilities under the direct billing network of Bao Viet Insurance, they may present their insurance card (physical card or digital card) and identity documents to use the direct billing service.
Step 1:

Present a valid insurance card and  Identity Documents such as ID card or Passport or  Birth Certificate (if the patient is a child)

Step 2

Use the medical services  following the guidance of the medical facility staffs (Note: Deposit required as per medical facility regulations)

Step 3

Sign the Letter of Guarantee, pay for any expenses that are not covered by the insurance policy (if any), and receive deposit (if any)

Direct billing service may not be applied in several cases

Direct billing service may not be applied in several cases

  1. The Insured does not present valid insurance card/indentification
  2. The Insured was delete from the list of insured, before the expiration date on the insurance card
  3. Expenses are not under insurance coverage
  4. Cases that require further verification. For examples

- Medical information relating to the Insured is unclear or insufficient
- Lack of accident report/ driver license or accident with unknown cause that needed to be clarified
